Janne Saarinen's paintings depict imaginative shapes, figures and spaces. He's works are pictures made up of material layers, the subjects of which show influences from nature and growing up in the digitized world. Saarinen is interested in the contradictions and similarities of different realities. In his works, he often strives for human emotion, which tends to emerge from the brushstrokes like a electric tension waiting to be released.
