.Janne Saarinen works with painting. In his works, he deals with the ambiguous relationship between human experience and reality. The subjects of his paintings include references to nature and man-made technologies. In his works, Saarinen processes these themes using imagination, acrylic paint, sand and canvas, but does not seek to proclaim a single truth. Complex emotions such as fear, uncertainty and the human need for control take on surprising forms when painted and visually express things that words cannot reach.
